The reason for my brief return to the UK was for one amazing woman. My wonderful, amazing bestie, once Miss Lathbridge, now Mrs Omeye-Howell. For her, and the honor of being matron of honour I flew in to complete my duties. The wedding process may have frazzled her, however on the day she was an absolute beaut! She looked so stunning, just amazing, completely blowing us all away. I didn't have access to my digital camera, so these photos are quick snaps taken on my iPhone (also edited on the iPhone using VSco). You'll notice that as the day progresses I have taken less as duties called. However I think I've captured the most important aspect of the day. Her.

Hello, Goodbye, Hello
With our impending return to London I was getting my camera ready and digging around clearing out old photos. I came across these pictures from one of Hipster Dufus' leaving dinners, when we were getting ready to come to New York. Not everyone was able to make it that day but it was supposed to be a dinner with all his best boys. I was the honorary lady and designated photographer.
We went to Tayyabs where we'll be meeting you all again when we return on Saturday night. We've dragged most of you to Tayyabs before so you know that it's amazing Indian/Pakistani food. It's loaded with flavorsome grilled dishes like meats or king prawns, an array of nan breads and delicious sides like chickpeas and paneer cheese. So in preparation for our return, here is a reminder of what helps make Tayyabs so fantastic. Great food and even better friends.

Museum Cafe
With some friends all you need to do is keep it simple. Meeting up with friends as often as I have been has really begun to put a strain on the bank balance, however there aren't many cafes that stay open past 6:00pm when most of us are finishing work! The wonderfully laid back Hurwundeki was in this case the answer to our problems. A cafe by day, at night it serves up Korean food until 10pm as well as its normal coffee shop goods. The perfect setting to meet up with my MA girls. The best thing about friends who work in the same industry is the way we can talk about personal and professional topics moving seamlessly between the two without lowering the tone. It was such a warm night, with good vibes and silky conversations. Bliss x

Bye!
Friday was my last day working at the wonderful British Music Experience. I spent most of the day photographing work mates and getting on their nerves! I managed to get Nat-Nat eating chicken and looking very 'yard' as he put it. Ro-Ro managed to not run from the camera when I came near her. And some of you were working so hard I had to get pictures of you just doing that! (Ahem, Becca and Paul). It has been an amazing three years guys, I will miss you all dearly. Please, please, please keep in touch and continue to work hard to make our little museum successful x
